Building a Profitable Drop Shipping Business

In this article, I will be exposing some useful tips and tricks for when it comes to building a profitable drop shipping business. As an entrepreneur, I’m sure at some stage during your online career, you have considered the idea of starting your own buy and sell ebay business, am I right? If so, you were probably either put off by the amount of risks involved or actually dived in and tried it which later resulted in failure.

Well, the good news is that by starting your own drop shipping business, you minimize and almost completely eliminate those risks attached to a traditional buying then selling type of business. Why?  It’s because with drop shipping, you do not actually need to buy any products upfront, in fact, you don’t keep any stock at all, ever.

So forget those dreaded trips to the local wholesalers where you end up spending an absolute fortune buying products in bulk, without any real knowledge on how popular they are. Forget spending all of your days packaging items up and taking constant trips to the post office only to be greeted by the typical angry manager who just sees you as a daily annoyance.

By starting your own drop shipping business, you have already increased your chances of success and decreased your chances of loosing a heap load of money. You see, you only ever actually buy products, after they have sold. When they do sell, you place the order with your supplier who then ships the item to the customers. You’re acting as the middle man or woman only.

For example, let’s imagine that your supplier is selling a brand new and never been opened set of hair straighteners. They are asking for $14.99 for them. After some background checks, you find out that this particular set of hair straighteners have been selling like giving candy to a baby. You decide to list them on ebay for the price of $24.99.

When they sell, you pocket $10 profit, after deducting ebay fees and you then place the order with the supplier. The supplier gets their staff to package up the item and they then send it straight up to your customers door step. Everyone’s a winner.

That’s the power of running your own drop shipping business. Just imagine being able to sell any type of product you like, without ever keeping them in stock. Just imagine the profits to be made. If this industry sounds like something you could see yourself doing, the best advice I can give is, find a training course that can show you how to drop ship the right way.
