HOW TO TRANSCRIBE?
The file is to be uploaded on their server (www.scribie.com). This editor accepts all kind of format; even imports from URL or Drop box are also accepted. Then it is further processed by converting it to mp3.
After the uploading, the Transcribe menu is to be selected for editing. A new window pops up where the transcripts can be entered by simultaneously playing the audio. There are lot of shortcuts for easy handling. It can also be done through dictating. Just accent is to be selected from menu, and then the matter can be dictated through microphone. It is much easy and less time consuming.
Then after the transcript can be analysed via analyse option. This option helps underlines the most peculiar words and phrases, which requires reviewing. Hence the transcript is ready to be downloaded. The downloaded document can be saved in any format like TXT, PDF, and ODT etc.

It is an advanced editor which provides various functions as per requirements. Here the audio player and the transcript come under single interface that makes it very comfortable. Along with these, it comes with text editor, Auto capitalization that automatically capitalizes the first letter of sentence, live spell check, text and transcript analyser, auto correct common misspellings, etc.
Advanced shortcuts have been introduced; F10 play/pause, F7 for rewind, F12 for adding timestamp. One can create his own shortcut with desired key combination. There is no worry if file is left unsaved, because there is an auto save option.
