I came across this awesome online scheduling software called BookSteam, and here’s what their clients write about them:
In the last 5 years our veterinarian practice has nearly doubled. We service cats, dogs and even rats. If it’s a pet, we probably care for it. Personally, I wasn’t familiar with BookSteam. I had never heard of online appointment scheduling software but I loved the idea of allowing our clients to book online their pet’s health needs without all the hassle. So, I took some time to research what BookSteam had to offer.
Here’s what I liked:
-Vet clients can view our calendar from their computer or smartphone and schedule online their pet for any of their regular appointments like shots, grooming or physicals.
-Vet clients can also pick an “emergency” session from our online scheduling calendar reserved for sick animals who need immediate care.
-Reminders are automated so each customer will remember their appointment without needing our staff to call them.
– The office can turn on the client payment option and require valid credit card when clients book. I think this will eliminate a lot of no shows.
-The office can schedule group sessions online as well with the online class scheduling feature.
-As we expand to additional offices (we hope to have 3 someday), Booksteam will grow with us. Clients can pick (from an online scheduling webpage, which is provided by BookSteam) the office they want to make the appointment at and view that calendar availability immediately.
It didn’t take long to convince me this was the way to go! For the next 30 days we are going to use the free BookSteam trial and ask a group of our regular customers to see what they think.
