Terryann Powell- Bajwa has always had a passion for art and wrecking ball determination as a young girl. However, never in her wildest dreams did she believe she would become a success as an entrepreneur – She never imagined Tera Consulting would grow into what it is today, and not as fast. It’s almost like a blessing and a curse all at the same time, responded Terry Ann Powell Bajwa- She described her journey stating, It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done – Initially, I would spend nights in my Garage Office until I fall asleep at 2 am in the same chair only to wake up for a 6.30 am hot yoga class, to stay energized, then repeat. This was all while balancing a newborn infant, family life, and returning to business school.
Building a business with very little knowledge of the industry and limited resources comes with challenges, sacrifices, and struggles you never imagined. Before hiring employees and family, Tera Consulting was initially a two-person company. Then others joined – God bless them, she said. Tera Consulting has competent employees, an in-house fulfillment center, an in-house customer service team, and 52 warehouse distribution partnerships. They still have many very real challenges. But they certainly have gotten better and have learned more each day. She continued to state that she experienced it all on her journey. She had every low and high imaginable during Terryann Powell – Bajwa’s journey. She cried so much, laughed so much, and prayed so much.
The worst part is doing everything right but feeling like you are failing because everything could be better. After Covid, Tera Consulting started growing faster – The craziest part of the journey was COVID-19; it came out of nowhere and created even more struggles. However, she has dedicated herself to remaining resilient and practicing gratitude through it all.
As an entrepreneur, she is humble and reminds herself that everyone is here because of her determination and non-quitting spirit. Terryann Powell-Bajwa is a modern-day Servant Leader, a dreamer who saw her dreams come to life while awake- She is an entrepreneur who employs in the middle of a pandemic. Terryann Powell-Bajwa became whom God created her to be. A Servant Leader puts others first and helps others become who they were made to be.
It’s that practice of gratitude that reminds Terryann Powell-Bajwa of why she didn’t become an entrepreneur for wealth – She did it to remind her children and others around her who are trying to become entrepreneurs on their own – Never To give up, give in to your strength, that power, that weakness of the journey, like a wrecking ball. Ultimately, there will be light, and everyone will enjoy the professional, financial, and personal freedom of being an entrepreneur. Terryann Powell- Bajwa did it to help people stay determined, believe in the impossible, and dream.
